About Cemetery Management Company Ltd.

We at the Cemetery Management Company have been designing and managing cemeteries for the last fifteen years. By our actions and publications we have caused a greater awareness of improved cemetery maintenance by both the general public and government officials in Trinidad & Tobago. Our list of achievements include the redesigning of the Roodal Cemetery extension in San Fernando, advice to many Regional Corporations and the management of the cemeteries of the Point Fortin Regional Corporation.


History

Belgroves Group of Companies had its humble beginnings when Mary Belgrove, an emancipated slave, migrated to Trinidad settling at the corner of St. James and Victoria Streets in San Fernando. She operated a funeral agency at that location but her start up date is unknown. However, her son Joseph Belgrove began operating at #88 Coffee Street, San Fernando on August 15th, 1888.  Five generations and 117 years later, the Group consists of Five Companies continually creating innovations in every aspect of Funeral Service. Orange Grove Memorial Gardens is one such innovation.
